The Long-Awaited Answer to the Recently Heated Contention

Hi again!

This is the 2nd part of my writing about vaccines and vaccination. In this article, I will discuss the vaccines used to prevent and even end the epidemics that are the subject of blockbuster movies, the history of vaccination, and the origins of anti-vaccine sentiment.

Vaccines are important for creating immune response. So that, when the host caught to real disease, immune system remembers that germ so it acts right on time and do not lose time to get to know that pathogen or to try to produce the correct antigen. The first example of vaccines are rooted back to Ancient China. The first vaccination took place in China in 200 BC against smallpox. The achievement of vaccines is enormous. For the first time ever, the human species could be able to eradicate a disease from the surface of Earth. This disease is smallpox, which killed millions of people, and it was eradicated thanks to the collabration of every country in vaccination. After its eradication in 1980, no more case related to this disease have seen. So, here is the main question: Even though the safety and effectiveness of vaccines have been experienced through many situations throughout the history, why some people still are against vaccination? The underlying reason for this refusion is mainly related to education level of these people. Due to the lack of understanding the concept and working principles and procedure of vaccines lead to anti-vaccine sediments. Another reason for that is the media. Sometimes some people without the basic knowledge regarging to that topic reaches so many people and then people who find this person reliable start to believe every word she/he says.

Overall, it is important for a society to have a strong immunity in order to maximise life quality and for this to happen, vaccines play the most important role. That’s why, vaccination of each person is really crucial.
